ROTATION
  • A transformation in which a figure is turned about a point.
  • There are two kinds of rotation direction:
    • clockwise
    • counter clockwise


  • And there are 4 kinds of rotation:
    • 90°
    • 180°
    • 270°
    • 360°

  • Translations are totally different from rotations. Translation is to slide a shape, but rotation is to turn.
  • And it is different from reflection too.
  • assignment page 307-308 , numbers 1-33(0dd numbers only)

    I like the different colors you used in your rotation diagrams as well. They helped to make your illustration understandable. It made me think that I could have explained this to you using a clock...
